To answer your question with a resounding 'yes'!!! The irony is the number of 'fools' on here (myself included) who have done exactly that! Except my guess is that between us we put a lot more than $27m into it all told.

This company illustrates how little control and how vulnerable small investors are. And when you consider that 'sophisticated investors' are usually just the sum of lots of small investors they are often no less susceptible. Whoever put $27 million into this has either 1. too much money 2. too greedy (like most of us on here) 3. does little research and likes taking punts instead of putting $27 million into far safer investments 4. all of the above.

My opinion of course but don't let the irony be lost on you.
