"Sorry I cant help myself, lets rewind 18 months ago shall we, when you first started posting were we not at ~ 20c? "

Well that was a more feeble effort than you usually put in to making stuff up to make things seem better.

18 months ago it was March 2012. In that entire month AEB traded between 34c and 38.5c. The months either side of that it traded higher.

Load up the chart, make it for a year, or your 18 month timeframe, or make it a bit longer and go for two years. Take a step back, look at the big picture, and you see a diagonal line high on the left and low on the right. There was a spike in later 2011/late 2012 caused by excitement which amounted to nothing.

If you look closely at the ripples you'll see things like the ripple caused by the Mac Gen deal. At the time it seemed like a big exciting rally, but when you step back and look at the big picture it's not even a big ripple, and the downtrend established for years has not been broken.

Sentiment and technicals can drive a price sometimes, in some cases for weeks or months, but in the long term, in the big picture, the market tends to get it right. Take a step back and look at that chart, the whole picture.
