Revising my last post - was a load of rubbish, the shed is not so much a storage facility but a siphon of reserves to allow faster load rates.

Having the large shed allows for faster loading as you are not just dependent on the supply by rail. For example - if you want to load 1 ship per 1.5 days, you take 60k from the shed and then top up the shed with 45k from the rail received in that time. After a time roughly 19 days of taking ore out and topping up, the supply in the shed will be gone - so you either start loading at 1 shipment per 2 days (just from rail supply)constantly for the rest of the year (not possible because of swells) or replenish the shed and keep shipping faster. Replenishing the shed would take 9 days.
In pure terms it is a 28 day cycle to use full shed + hauled ore until the shed is empty and then fully replenish the shed to start again. In that time you ship approx 13 loads, over the year that's approx 10mt.

They have been clever, they do have to shut down because of the swell, they will use that time (and perhaps more if needed) to replenish the shed.
