But I like option 3.
Sell for 300 million.
Keep 100 million to develop there remaining oil field.
200 million as a special dividend.
That would give us shareholders about 80 cents each share.))

And still have a company with growth prospects.
Regardless when its all said and done, this company last time it sold acreage was worth 40 cents per share.
Now as you say its 75 cents per share if the deal goes through.
Whatever he does if he keeps doing what he is doing, in 2 more years it could be 1.50 a share.
