Diligent and Farmboy, I think you have hit the nail on the head for the majority of Aussies. Please approach us in the legal way, front door as you say, and you will be welcome with open arms. Try to sneak in and we get pissed at you. The back door cheats are not in dire straights as they can afford to pay for a boat ride!! Does anybody know an estimate of what these rides cost to the "asylum seekers"? and how much as a % of an annual wage for people from these countries the "fares" would be. Also why do these seekers all of a sudden have no papers and wont tell us where they are from? Up front and honest would certainly help no end, not scheming and lying to the people that you want to befriend and be neighbours with, or do you really want to be our friends and neighbours or just love us for our welfare?????
