Just a minute I think we're talking about two different things here.
I have no interest in whether you are short or long or whatever. That's cool and that's your business. I don't really care either way.
What is painfully evident to me and has been for a long time is that Lynas is now dominated by retail investors. This may sound like a contradiction, but no one poster on HC can move the price. Nor could a group. But retail holders dominate Lynas and retail holders dominate HotCopper. Just a fact.
HC rightly or wrongly is a "source of truth" rather than the Discussion Forum that it is supposed to be.
The result is that, in concert, when you either take away or pollute that source of truth, the price of Lynas can move. Consequently following on from this, on days when Lynas is not volatile or the volume is low, the HC activity is low. The correlation co-efficient would be close to 1.
