Actually probably better to index the pension payments for ex-PM's by time served, of course with only completed terms qualifying for inclusion as "time served"...
This would stop the ridiculous game that the union-bosses played on Australians with neither Gillard nor Rudd being competent enough to serve a full term as PM, both being fired by their own party, but still able to collect the full and highly lucrative lifetime pension payments and perks...
These pension payments and perks should only be awarded to PM's that have completed their full terms, and not to musical-chairs-rotate-the-stooge PM's like Gillard and Rudd...
