To plunge the country into civil war (something that would very likely be the outcome) which would result in even greater suffering by the Iraqi people
With the likely outcome of this being another brutal dictatorship leading the country and with even a greater likely hood of what ever regime comes out on top being a mu$lim extremist backed regime
