she is so much smarter and more capable than gillard could ever dream of being. This is more of the sort of competent people we need. forget which side of politics you like, we should all like the best person for the job. Some voters will hang on to the wrong person simply because its 'their side'. Bishop sounds, talks and walks the walk. we see the boats stop and the budget come under more control, these guys will walk the next term. I doubt this obvious view would be lost on the libs.
