I'm revisiting this thread because in the next day or so I will have my bookings made for Manila for some dental work. I followed up on the lead by LRTF and another. Haven't decided which way togo yet. Our local dentist quoted outrageous prices for us both. It looks as if the work will be 25% of that and the surgery will pick us up at the hotel and drop us off. A hotel room bigger and better than anything I've experienced here is about a grand for a fortnight and airfares aren't far over a grand but some of the cheap ones have terrible schedules so I expect to pay more than that.
We'll have a fortnight holiday and save 10 big ones.
I have been many hours looking at flights and hotels but it is coming together now. I'm even starting to look forward to it.
