How many of those Investment Grade Companies emerged originally from the crapshoot, or were they Investment Grade from the beginning, you might as well tell me to only invest in Bluechip Stocks, which i won't do as Term Deposits give me a better return, so in order to do well in the market or find the next great thing i need to pick a dog from the pack that just might sprint well ahead of the others, it's called Gambling by some and Knowledge based investing by others.
and yes you can lose your shirt if you put all your cash into one company, which is way we need a diversified portfolio and why some of us enjoy the game and others don't.
