But the answer is not as simplistic as removing aid, because the repercussions and counter actions could create far greater issues for Australia.

Including greater Asylum Seeker issues and economic and trading issues.

There is a big difference between telling someone as opposed to working with someone to achieve the desired result.

Be firm about the goal, but flexible about how it is achieved.
