Can I confirm what you are saying here please.

I thought the daily excludes covered shorts in which case it is useless.

The figures from max are 1,942,139 CDU shares traded of which 420,433 were shorted.

I deduct from your statement that as an example 800,000 shares on the day could have been short but 380k odd were covered leaving the 420k short outstanding.

Is this correct?


BTW. The ASIC site confirms that the shorts are increasing; in the last reportable 7 days they have increased by approximately 1m.
