Why is everyone so afraid of Tony Jones, in particular Tony Abbott? Surely if our PM were capable enough he would be able to face up to Jones in an interview and competently answer any questions put to him.

Is everyone here fearful of the embarrassment the PM will cause when he is found wanting, with his foot firmly in his mouth? I mean for God's sake, the man is a Rhodes Scholar after all, as we have been reminded ad nauseum by every righty on this site for the past 2 years. Surely he can handle Jones and clearly explain how he will make this country a better place.

Instead you all want Abbott to continue to run scared and just eliminate the questioner. Sounds more like North Korea than Australia to me. Happy for your hero to 'run from a fight'??
