"Average temp in Darwin is 10+ degrees warmer than Melbourne.
Extinction has not occured there."

This sort of woolly thinking I find depressing in its understanding of what a 12 degree rise means. (BTW note the 12 degree rise is a CONJECTURE).

Imagine a 12 degree rise in Melbourne AND Darwin. Would you STILL want to live in Darwin?
