let the facts not get in the way of a simple post.....if you want to attribute greatness to america then lets take a real look at the facts:
father of the modern world we live in was a man almost totally forgotten by history, a man whose greatest nemesis and detractor was a 'great' american called tom edison,a man who was screwed over by several other 'great' americans called Westinghouse and jp morgan, a man who died in poverty and destitution shunned by the country he had adopted and yet it is america which claims credit for his long list of inventions, which by the way include ac electricity, 3 phase power, development of robotics, remote control, xrays, radio,wireless energy transmission, lasers, induction motor, tesla coil used in amongst other things tv, electric generator -the first hydro electric plant,essentially his inventions are the basis of almost everything we use in the modern world, they over 100 patents and countless other unpatented inventions.....and yet most people have never heard of Nikola TESLA....... next time you turn on the lite, start your car,use your mobile, your pool pump, your tv, your radio................basically everything you do, spare a thought for a great non american genius.
