This is a very fortunate escape for MAK. Yes it was good management that drove our decision to exit although there is also an element of luck that there was a party prepared to stump up the cash for Namibia. In any case, I take my hat off to Cliff for having the managerial discipline to force a decision.

Hopefully this reinforces the critical important achievements of MAK in having all the necessary environmental approvals already in place, as well as the importance of having the resource in a politically stable jurisdiction.
