So my picture has always simply been - fair value is a creation of the market not the Company ..ever noticed SP's around time of mooted Cr's etc etc.

Of course their is an end game and an obligation to their individual shareholders within funds or else they lose them quite right - so again they don't invest in duds if they can help it ( some loads better than others).
