This initial flow rate is extremely impressive.

Lucky I think you will find EGO is not a shale multi frac well, but have not been following EGO.

To give some indication on just how impressive this initial flow rate is.
The highest measured shale gas rate in Aussie that I am aware of is from the Icon/beach Halifax well.
Initially flowed round 2mmcf/d while cleaning up.

It then peaked at 4.2mmcf/d and settled at 3.9mmcf/d

Here's why A2 is so impressive.

Halifax had a 14 stage fracc program. The choke was (24/64) 630mm.

3.5mmcf/d on a 29/64 choke. (750mm)

We are now flowing on a 32/64" choke. (1050mm)and are expected to increase the size of the choke to let more fluid out.

This well be a monster as a horizontal and Lucky's 12mmcf/d seems very likely.
