I just didnt want to be drawn into making some kind of numerical prediction based on insufficient data. If i did I would just be plucking a number out of the air.
It is fine to discuss the issues and both the good and bad side of things. Thats not spruiking. As long as you give the appropriate caveats to any numbers and projections you come up with that isn't spruiking. Any number you or I could manufacture at this stage would be almost pure speculation given the lack of hard data. Pure speculation is fine, so long as that is annotated as such with assumptions listed.
In Sep 2012 you may have identified a rapid decline curve but this characteristic is well understood across all of the US Gulf coast depleted fields. I seem to recall that there was a few punters back then that speculated that there was no way they could reach 6000BOPD by Dec 2012 but i don't recall what your position was on that score.
