Actually it was Labor that closed the loopholes in the 457 visa program that John Howard neglected for decades! Labor has also increased the application fees for the 457 visa creating further revenue for Govt....
If anything you should be thanking Labor!
Tony Abbott may open the flood gates just yet to cheap foreign labour. We await to see what develops on that front!
