"Keep nimble."
certainly agree with that. And I also think out of session decisions can be made. I also think they are capable of any decision - stupid or not, plenty of past evidence there.
What is inescapable though is that every month money is required.
There is a shortfall 'every' time.
So where is the money to come from?
One answer - issuing paper.
The problem comes if other people just don't want to buy that paper.
They HAVE to issue it ------ if no one else buys it then who?
Comes back to one answer.
The only other answer is to cut - dramatically with a capital DD.
But, can you imagine politicians cutting defence budgets, social security budgets etc. ----------- so so hard to make a difference?
I can't - they would have riots.
They are at the stage where they wouldn't have to cut their budgets to the bone - they would have to remove entire limbs. And they still would have their massive debt.
imo, someone else has to have the answers - the yanks plainly haven't.
You are right -------- stay nimble.
