I do not think Bretto needs any help from your opening stanza comment.

There are numerous examples of companies wanting to close down commentary from shareholders citing detrimental impacts on the SP by forum chatter. Obviously they think the Forum does have an impact...from memory this includes CDU. Why do you think there is a HC fighting fund? Is it due to your assumption that the HC forum has no impact!

Obviously it does..no matter what you think .. maybe that's why you post.

Your comment on the "Cult" in your next paragraph takes the cake.

That's right.. the shorters and opportunists do not give a flying fart about the long term holders aspirations ..that's what is wrong about the stock market today ..it seems to be all about the "Greed" factor, bugger the company, bludgeon it to a point where it just survives and then bash it again..just to squeeze another ounce of cash out of it.

CDU is not the only company on the block that fits this scenario... however you seem to espouse that bent.

Who do you consider to be the "Cult"..are they the real long term investors in CDU .. you know, the ones that really want CDU to produce a dividend for them in the long term and would love to be a part of a long term successful mining operation.

The longs are diametrically opposed to mercenary short term traders/shorters skinning the company followed by a few more skinnings just to make sure their pockets are full at the expense of genuine investors, whilst keeping the company alive for another round .. Jackals at work.

Tell me, what do shorters /short trade hedge funds and day traders add to the national wealth and interest?....bugger all I might suggest to you.

The chinese are not really interested in the Major Instos views especially if they are invested in a company like CDU..CDU may not need the help from the western major Insto's ..just like the Fortescue story on a smaller scale.

The Rocklands story is a great one and one day it will make history just like Twiggy and FMG.A lot of explorers going to production and initial stage producers are getting sick and tired of the BS going on in the markets, locally and globally.

The sooner the markets get sorted globally the better it will be for genuine investors.

I note that you keep mentioning the "Cult".. what is your definition of the CDU Hot copper Cult?

You have the Cannon Fodder part right .. but that's symptomatic of the Global markets.

Maybe that's why situations like the current "Whale Trades" fiasco will bring the system to heel over the shorter term.
The efforts of MaxW, et al, are to be applauded in that context.

The system stinks and it's about time it is fixed...globally.... it might take decades, otherwise the entrenched systems might just implode the global "Financial system".. again.

Private companies might be the best way to go in the long term to sort this market mess out.

I do not hold CDU ..but I might.. I like what I see at Rocklands..but that's my opinion.

I just need to get over the thought of stock market manipulation and nefarious trading activities.. they seem to be cropping up frequently ..maybe it's due to positive action finally being taken up by global regulators worried about another crash.
