Next Saturday will be Ross Lyon's third GF as coach of an AFL club.
It is incorrect to state that he has been involved in three Grand Finals without a flag as the third GF hasn't been played yet.
In any case I get what you're saying should Fremantle go down, but that is pressure on the coach to get that monkey off his back on a personal level, not on the footy club as a whole who are playing their first GF in their 19 year history in the AFL.
