    bruceyg,
    respectfully,
what you wrote is not correct

jesus is the son of god,not god himself
    1corin 8.6

"bowral you are not quite right there"

oh yes what i said is,could you please show me where the jews believed in a trinity?you wont be able to,because they never have, and still dont

so that actually leaves the onus on you to prove where, when and how,as i have the biblical proof, historical

the quote you gave from proverbs just proves the jews knew god had a son, they just didnt believe jesus was it,that is the reason they put him on the cross, for claiming to be the devine son of god

the angel of the lord quotes you gave just prove the same, they believe he had a son,but whats that got to do with a trinity?

"the opening sentences of the bible reveal another personage - "and the spirit of god moved upon the waters" - the holy spirit.'

No it dosent reveal another personage of the godhead at all, you are just assuming it means what you want it or have been taught by mainstream thoughts, god has his spirit,
his spirit is holy, that is the holy spirit

it is not another person as you have been taught, not only is this belief contrary to commonsense, takes away the sonship of christ, but is pagan in origin

the points you presented have nothing to do with proving a trinity, they just point out that god has a son?
