There is no perfect answer to this, it could help to get a current version of the corporations act and maybe a legal opinion. I have studied this area, but I can only look at the law and make an opinion if it could potentially create an issue. It's up to interpretation by ASIC or a qualified legal practitioner to make an informed opinion. Hopefully HC can help you on this.

The other options available could be to keep these correspondences private or to attend an AGM or broker presentation to ask questions in the public domain that should be answered as long as the answer doesn't breach privacy or any other aspects of law.
