krudd could not go overseas without throwing money around. money is power and influence - and the megalomaniac krudd would have loved that.. and it was not his money that was being tossed around. a prudent opposition would have criticized the wasteful spending of money on all sorts of crazy schemes - both at home and abroad.
meantime krudd is probably suffering "syria deprivation syndrome" - after all, he self proclaimed that he was the only person that could handle the foreign affairs of the government - as tony abbott did not have the correct attributes.
just a shame that krudd could not handle the affairs of his own party - whereas abbott united the coalition behind him for several years .
