lol, that's funny man, im shearing for my own farm atm, and im contracting myself out to all the hobby farms within a 200km radius of were i live in WA, I live in jarrahdale which is 50km out form perth,
im doing very well out of the contracting, most days im making $500.00 a day, some day have been $900.00 days, its a big day but its worth it for me,
allot of the bigger farms than me are basically self sufficient, ie they grow there own hay, lupins oats barley etc,
so they wouldn't see any problems other than the feed on the ground and the prices that they/me are getting for their lambs cattle etc, but they feed their own stock for free in that case,
interestingly, no one has said anything about the bumper wheat crop that will be coming out of the esperance /Albany region this year,
and because of that the poor old farmer will be getting less than $200.00 a ton for his wheat, which is bad if any one asks,
when their is a bad season the wheat prices go to $500.00 a ton, how do these poor buggers win at this game,
i feel sorry for them to be honest, they are getting ripped of and no one says anything,
