When I think of the ocean depths, I think of, possibly, the most stable factor one could put into a climate model. Could it be "k"?
To say that suddenly [the warmists insist 10 years is but a moment] the ocean depths can absorb disproportionally a greater percentage of heat than has occurred in the past, is garbage.
If they can't describe the mechanism whereby this happens it is a joke. Has some global phenomenon caused a greatly increased upwhelling of cold water from the depths? I have not read of this.
On a global scale the oceans are deep and stagnant. Only a skin on the surface is agitated.
NatGeo shows what happens. The remnant of dead matter that is not consumed in the surface layer just slowly sinks. Ot is not brought back upon some mysterious convection. It just ain't so.
