I was one of the orignal schoolies from way back when it was much quieter times but my friends and neighbours kids all continue to go through this passage. It is one of the best times of your life and should not ba taken away from anyone. All our friends kids get educated and educated on what do do and most of them come back saying they were barely able to move without a policeman looking over their shoulder. But they all say, time of their life and they wouldn't miss it for the world. Plenty of things happened to us but it was one of the best lessons in life on common sense. Too many of our kids are protected in cotton wool now. Mine included:)
