the warming of the lower oceans is not by direct conductive thermal transfer - the oceans turn over their water through ocean currents, up-wells and ocean gyres, they are not static, it is not like shining a light on the top of a static glass of water and observing the heating of the bottom of the glass as the heat penetrates through the upper layers.

As water mixes in the oceans some warm water is mixed into the lower strata and cooler water is exposed to the surface and cools the atmosphere.

Different salinity levels will also cause water to move around as the heavier saltier water sinks and lighter less saline water floats. Heat can be transferred in this manner as well.

If you cared to listen to the explanation of the scientists and not the muck racking of misinformed prejudiced activists you might get somewhere. Try looking for an answer without a prejudiced view and running off hysterically accusing others of the very crimes you are guilty of. Why didn't Joanna Nova or Carter or Monckten or any other of your favorite luminaries contribute to the IPCC report - they have had five years to submit papers, five years to provide evidence to back up their assumptions, five years to access the data and the very same reports and what did we get - nothing - what have they contributed to the report? what have they done to advance the argument? Nothing. And yet the skeptics keep trotting them out and holding them up as some beacon of truth, it can only as they live in a world of darkness devoid of scientific enlightenment.
