That reminds me of the true story about how to brick a camel.

It was apparently a method the Afghans used in the out back in the early days when the water supply was 10 - 12 days apart.
Well every one knows that camels can go 7 days without a drink but as they needed to last nearly twice that long the practice of bricking the camel was used.

How it worked was that as the camel had its head in the trough sucking up water the Afghan handler would sneak up behind it with two bricks and as the camel started sucking he would put a brick each side of the camels testicles & very quickly smash them together with the unfortunate camels testicles being in between.
This cause the camel to take an extra large suck which in turn meant taking in twice the amount of water thereby enabling it to last the extra 5 - 6 days.

    True story.
An old bushie told me that when I were only a young bloke working on a station up north.
