re: re:banjar: travellers to singapore beware !! ( sorry banjar. So far as Singapore is concerned, I'm a sad reflexion of an ignoramus. I mean no offence, certainly not to you. What I'm criticising here, is totalitarian regimes in general and not in particular; and they usually begin exactly like these outcries: Give us more laws! Give us stricter laws! Give us more severe punishments (apparently death sentences are not enough, public executions are not enough, TV telecasts are not enough, they'll need all this plus more, like brutality, torture, etc)! Give more powers to the police! Poewrs to arrest, shoot to kill anyone they fancy! 007 for everyone! Our poor, overworked PM needs more secret agencies... and on and on the list goes!
