I am reluctantly joining the HC fray to support RED and its shareholders in these tough times. I may be able to help interpret the advice given by RED and provide any relevant history to the current situation so you are better informed. I say reluctantly because of the ferociousness of some of the posts! I can take any criticism on the chin and will answer any question on any subject a member wishes to discuss about RED that I am able to within the law. None of this will be a sour grapes issue for me. I’m not going to cross the line if I think that information may materially affect RED’s chances of operational success going forward.

There have been numerous posts over time that are way off the mark and bordering on ridiculous, some are informative and thought provoking and some are very close to the truth of the matter if not absolutely correct. I am not going to judge anyone on the basis of their opinion because the discussions have for the better part been relatively healthy and I personally welcome free speech in any form.

I am still a shareholder of RED and in fact increased my holding after I left last November. Such was my belief that RED would succeed and that the temporary problems were all behind us. The pit was completely dewatered, the silt was 100% removed and the processing plant was in great condition and we were producing. There were still some minor issues to attend to that were part of the plan but we could see the light at the end of the tunnel. And then this incomprehensible set of events...
