    You really don't get it. "Run away like crazy" is not the issue - the issue is whether we can keep the increase to below 2 degrees. We've already had 0.8 to 0.9 of a degree. There is a lot of inertia built into the system. Things are not looking good.

    I agree that numerically its not very significant. 2 degrees out of 388 (Kelvin) is only a 0.5% increase, so it isn't much, but it is enough to cause all the impacts that have been postulated like ocean acidification, sea level rise (both of which you ever so conveniently ignore!), ice cap and glacier melting, more extreme weather etc etc etc.
