Comes on the back of WPL acquiring the Gryphon gas interests for circa US$300M (offshore gas). WPL planning to spend a lot on exploration in this acreage next year.

Short point is that gas in the US is, at present, a licence to print money.

No direct impact on CPC but confirmation they are in the right business at the right time.

Have always seen this as a business that will build very quickly over a short few years.
