I once tried to explain to a friend who was new to investing (and wanted to make it his full time living) that a $1bn market cap company with 1bn shares at $1 wasn't necessarily "cheaper" than a $1bn market cap company with 1m shares at $1000. He just didn't get the concept. It's worrying what some people in the market think.
