Problem was that after the GFC unless you were a trader there were few companies similar to AVB to invest in.
In hindsight, it would have been wiser to place our money in Bank shares.
I have only been on AVB for a year so I sympathise with the long termers. Because AVB has continued to grow in potential it has kept holders on board despite a disappointing share price. Let's not forget that AVB is not unique in this regard and keep reminding ourselves that the economic outlook for the world is still very negative. Investors haven't forgotten the GFC and are still very nervous.
There is a sniff that things are on the improve. Let's hope so for all invetsors especially the long term AVB supporters.
