Uganda is also not exactly the safe country some may think it is. I have a good mate who is a native Tanzanian ( borders Uganda )He regularly tells me of problems occuring in Uganda with rebels from the neighbouring countries of Congo,Ethiopia,Sudan and the Central African Reublic.
Finding something there is one thing. Keeping it or profiting from it is totally another. How many times does one read of a major mineral discovery by a western mining company in some tin pot African country that has then been appropriated by corrupt officials, a local militia or nationalised by the state. Leave it to the Canadian explorers i say. They seem to be experts at going where no other mineral explorer will dare go.
