We are the public for sure, and it is ultimately us that is served by the power stations and cement kilns and all the other industrial infrastructure we have accumulated over the past century.It is also us that pays for everything in the end so any taxes on them are simply are tax on us.
So, we get rid of the power stations, steel mills, cement works, and all the other stuff and what are we left with? Not much I'd say..
