Yes, LJ, he had a nice run and was strong when challenged.
My main bet, Éclair was ridden more aggressively early on which I did not like, but he was caught a bit wide, even from barrier 4, so he pushed on. He faded badly. Tourneur said he jarred-up. Not his true form I reckon.
But El Roca was really stiff. Have a look at the replay. Had he had the run of the winner ie uninterrupted, he may well have won. Big call? Maybe, but don't remark til seeing a replay a few times. I wish I could put it up here, but I'm not capable of doing that.
Complacent looks the goods too.
