    Kookat,

    I'll quote you:

"if you have nothing constructive to say, i belive you should stop scare mongering" 10/10/13

    and another post

"fear by some spruikers on this site make some shareholders do funny things cant let these negative non shareholders drive the price
what you dont understand is that they are professionals and put fear into people to sell their stock cheap and then buy themselves and a couple of days later.." 10/10/13

So, if you have got nothing positive to say about DML, you cannot share your opinion!

I doubt the level of influence you think people have coming onto hot copper 'scaremongering' is going to drive the price down as much as it has. This is a joke and shows your lack of understanding. I worked in equity markets for 20 years (part of which time was spent dealing with hedge fund managers) and have a fair idea about it.

In fact, if you really believed that was the case, they would have saved you alot of money if only you had listened.

Just on short selling. First of all, most short sellers lose money. Simply because the sharemarket generally goes up. So, what is done is identifying an issue with a particular company which makes you think the price s well overvalued and will likely fall. I'm sure this stock was shorted at some point. However, it was shorted purely because it had issues and was not as rosey as many figured. In fact, Goldman Sachs and Citi (I think), actually had sell orders on DML way back before and at the takeover price. Back then they had best case valuations at 80c-90c. They identified a number of concerns. What we have seen is that the concerns they had were REAL. They were vindicated.

Anyway, I hate to see retail investors losing money. The reason I have posted is that new investors need to be warned that many people post without objectivity. Why do you need to keep posting that the share price is going to rise? If you think that, keep it to yourself. If you been wrong all year. When you lose money on an experience like this, you should remember it. These are often the best lessons to learn and will save/make you much more wealth in the future.
