If Bill Shorten can maintain the Caucus confidence he could well be the one to lead Labor to their next defeat in 2016.
Then there could be a reshuffle. I do think Bill Shorten will have trouble articulating Labor's case, he is not a good public speaker or orator. That is what the Plibersek will do, she'll do the shrieking and finger pointing that Bill may have trouble with.
So we can look forward to the Emily's Lister holding the floor and screaming and pulling faces at every Question Time unfortunately, while Billy sits quietly and nods his head.
I don't know that Plibersek will last the distance though...but I am sure there will be some memorable and tense moments between the non Emily's List member Bronwyn Bishop, and the plethora of Emily's List members in the Labor Party...
You would expect Labor to have learned their lesson of the danger in changing leaders with the season, personalities don't maketh a leader necessarily, or lack of in recent examples.
