The US crisis is over....normal business resumes.

From the markets' point of view, this is an absolute text book example of how the market will always tell us just about everything we need to know, well ahead of the actual event.

The last few days the media has been in a crisis frenzy, while the markets totally ignored them. The message for me is confirmed, - again, - that to find out what is happening, - check the price first.

It also confirms my own personal trading method of buying highs. I know few people do that, and we will all have our own best way. Good luck with yours.

But for the novices, the last few days has been a classic lesson in the ignorance of the media when it comes to stock trading. The media will today blissfully carry on, telling us that disaster was averted, - which is true, - but few will comment on the way in which the market so pointedly ignored their doomsday predictions.
