Butcherboy - "Getting better and better" tells us nothing about one's current position, other than it is better than one's previous position. That is the only logical conclusion to the statement you previously made.

And the set of climate models DOES represent a "team", who have found an opponent in the form of actual surface and lower troposphere temperature measurements.

Those measurements are reality. Observation trumps theory every time, and will always take the premiership trophy, until the theory can explain the reality. As anyone can see from those models, they are DIVERGING from the reality.

When you can reasonably show that the models ARE reflecting reality, then I - and other rational people - will happily reconsider our position on the matter.

They might well be the best models available, with the whole of climate science thrown in. And so what? An 8 year old can see they're broken. How old - or how blind - is the average CAGW advocate?
