    I can't see Butcherboy's post, strange.

I don't exactly 'enjoy posting on stocks I think will amount to nothing'. I took an interest in AEB (I'm interested in speculative and unconventional food production, and I suppose it ties in with my own 'real world' business), and have been watching the company for a few years. Yep, early on I bought some, got burned and learned a lot from the experience.

AEB caught my attention because I'm interested in energy, and AEB was making some extraordinary claims. I decided to take a closer look at the story and made my own conclusions (which I'm happy to change as soon as any of them are proven wrong). There are all sorts of interesting things about AEB, including the type of people who invest in it and those who discuss it.

Most of the companies I watch and hold are ones I'm positive about. If you look on any company's discussions you'll see that the vast majority of what is said is biased and positive. I generally see no reason to comment when everyone is already saying what I think or an exaggerated version of it.

If I'm watching something and everyone is saying the opposite of what I think, I have something to add, so sometimes I say something. You say I do this 'regularly' on 'stocks' - other than AEB (and CSS, although I don't often post there now because lots of others now say a lot of what I think) which stocks are you referring to? I can name a string of stocks I've looked at which I think are complete crap, but others are posting on with negative sentiment, so I see no reason to bother.

I haven't posted on EVM because I haven't really looked at it. I think it's a solar company? To me solar seems like the spoiled brat of the energy industry. Everyone loves it despite it really not being that great. Having said that, it's mostly photovoltaic cells which I'm not a fan of, and some of the newer alternative solar technology is a lot better. I don't recall anything about EVM other than it being solar so really can't comment one way or another. Why are you suggesting EVM is a dismal company destined for failure or that it's one I should comment on?
