bb says: "That is so lame, "actual surface and lower troposphere temperature measurements" do not give us the full picture. The ocean specific heat capacity is so enormous compared to air that a very, very tiny change in the temperature of the ocean will reflect a vast amount of heat. This is missing from "actual surface and lower troposphere temperature measurements". Yes observation trumps theory, but you have to observe ALL the facts. More cherry picking. Usual story."
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA. This is too good.
Once again: "ocean specific heat capacity is so enormous compared to air that a very, very tiny change in the temperature of the ocean will reflect a vast amount of heat"
Far out. So we even have a top cult member admit that our planet is quite, enormously capable, with the help of our oceans, to deal with any warming done to the atmosphere. So basically any atmospheric warming our additional C02 may cause, is insignificant because the oceans can soak up "vast" amounts of heat from the atmosphere, to the point of only having a "very, very tiny change" to the heat of the oceans!
Yet, he is so blinded by his faith that he doesn't even realise his on major contradictions.
Maybe the IPCC should tell us in their reports that the oceans are capable of handling vast amounts of atmospheric heat in that case, and we don't need to worry! After all ...
"a very, very tiny change in the temperature of the ocean will reflect a vast amount of heat" - butcherboy.
