The majority of workers in Australia earn under $50k...more likely around the $40k mark. The majority are in retail and unskilled factory work. These wages are likely to be in the vicinity of $18-23/hr.
Is this the high wage everyone is on about? Hardly high...is it? Would you give away all you have and start again on this wage to test the theory that it's more than enough and needs lowering? Honestly.
