The US$500 barrier is a nice big emotive one for the derivative traders to play with, but once broken-whether it be two days or two months, the run to $525 to happen fairly quickly.

Same thing happens with any of the previous big emotive barriers-$300,$350, $400, etc. Once broken they go for a decent run.

And having seen the market in action with the physical yesterdai in Dubai (it never stops!) there is a fair bit of momentum out there!!!
