    Hi'ya Bell - you might have got my views on Abbott mixed up but that's ok.

    The Feds have no choice but to oppose any Territory that takes it upon themselves to make "laws" that are not within their bailiwick.

    It's a bloody shame that the ACT did that because it just muddies the water - people have to defend the federal government regardless of their opinion on the issue.

    Let's not forget that the parliament voted against the proposal very recently - Labor is split and Libs have a policy position (which may change to conscience vote but that wouldn't have changed that recent result)
